“MAGGIE’S STORY” - The Ministry   

 

       The ultimate vision the Lord has put on my heart is that this ministry is a seed,

a blueprint for replicable, land-based properties: “Sanctuaries” for the Maggies of our day.

A place of peace and focused time with God & fellowship with their sisters. 

In essence, the Christian creation of a new kind of  “Convent” for a new kind of  “Nun.” Think about it...

 

The original monasteries and convents also began as places of spiritual retreat but evolved into crucial centers of safety, education, and economic stability during the violent, chaotic Dark Ages. They became influential institutions that preserved classical knowledge, flourished within their self-contained, rural boundaries and provided safe harbor for Christians navigating those historically turbulent times alone.

 

We now stand at the precipice of a new, emerging digital "dark age,” And with it come increasing hostility towards true Christians, disturbing levels of anti-semitism, crushing inflation, untenable housing costs and the general unraveling of society.

While married couples have families and homesteads to preserve & defend in a patchwork of rural communities, strengthening one another; what will become of the Maggies? With no family support system, no buffer of generational wealth, no husband to protect them in increasingly volatile times, what recourse do they have? How will the church support them as prophetic global tribulation looms ever closer? The need for re-envisioning the “Sanctuary” for “fatherless orphans” in our time presents itself. 

 

Imagine Maggies all over the country, walking away from empty, secular lives to commit a year or more to a donation based, work-trade residency or “retreat”, forging deep bonds of fellowship, discovering their giftings and God’s purpose for their lives, being divinely led in their next steps. Surely any woman ready for this commitment would eagerly submit an application designed by the Maggie’s Story Ministry team.

 

The vision the Lord has shown me grows from the Fruits of the Spirit, fed by the following “branches”:

 

*The Spiritual branch, covering Bible study, prayer, worship, education in spiritual warfare and more. *The Creative branch, encompassing all forms of arts & crafts, music, writing and creative expression.

*The Integrated Self-Care branch, blending physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. 

*The Nature branch, homesteading skills woven into working with the land, plants, horses & livestock.

*The Practical branch, with life skills & financial goal setting, tying into the Co-Op described below.

*The Entrepreneurial branch, enabling residents to earn income through ministry operated store fronts where the following product lines, established & created at these sanctuaries, could be sold: 

 

“Myrrh & Aloes” - A natural skin care line, “Hyssop & Vine” - An herbal wellness line, “Studio Poema” - An arts & crafts shop ,“Loaves & Fishes” - For sanctuary grown bread, jams, sauces & more. 

 

Imagine what God can do with these women, free of idols and attachments, surrendered to His will, ready to serve, standing firm on the Word with nothing to lose. Could it be He is doing a new thing on the earth? Might this be the birth of an unparalleled revival, shifting the tide for generations to come and healing the wounds the feminist movement has created?

       The Lord gave me a calling I could never accomplish on my own, because HE wants to do it!

All I can do is adjust my life accordingly and obey.

So, here I am! Sharing this where & how He guides me and leaving the rest up to Him!
